Description

Sigma Defense is seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) experienced in construction and trained in accordance with the ICD-705 to ensure the security integrity of a construction site. CST will conduct surveillance during construction to ensure that construction requirements are met and approved during the different phases of site preparation, construction, and lockdown to ensure that work is executed as designed and is free from security hazards.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant construction experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience and/or certifications in Special Program Security Credential (SPSC), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Security Manager (CSM), or Construction Surveillance Technician (CST).
  • Strong experience/knowledge with both security and construction.
  • Demonstrated experience with SCIF/SAP construction standards.
  • Strong experience with Windows and Microsoft Suite.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance or higher.
  • Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements:

  • Some college course work completed from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Work on-site at Creech AFB, NV.
  • Provide surveillance whenever the construction site is accessed by construction laborers.
  • Ensures the security and integrity of high-security construction projects (e.g., SCIFs, data centers) byΒ monitoring personnel, inspecting materials, and enforcing ICD-705.
  • Identify security threats.
  • Document daily activities and control site access.
  • Prevent the introduction of unauthorized devices.Β 
  • Reports operationally to the SSM.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually.
