Description

Provides specialized support in the fabrication and assembly of window & door products and/or components in a manner that meets the company’s cost, quality, productivity and profit goals. This role demonstrates specialized proficiency in ability to operate, function, and perform multiple complex processes and machinery within their production line safely and securely.

Requirements

  

Understands production schedule and other assigned work within allotted time 

Monitors quality throughout the process for adherence to company standards and facilitates timely correction/rework of rejected products and/or components

Ensures product quality and maximum machine uptime by monitoring & directing production line personnel responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment

Works closely and in a cooperative manner with management and supervisors of other production lines & functional departments to help meet the company’s goals

Assists management and supervisors by providing specialized support in training new employees on assigned daily job functions to be performed and in safe use and operation of tools and equipment

Maintains daily safety and clean work environment on established systems, policies, and procedures

notifies the supervisor of any need for adjustment or repair of equipment and cooperates in correcting deficiencies and affecting repairs

Provides information regarding progress against production plan as required 

Performs other related duties as required


Minimum of one (1) year experience in window & door manufacturing or related field

Previous supervisory experience preferred but not required

Preferred Skills Required:

Possesses the ability to understand and communicate clearly in English & Spanish

Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail

Ability to lead collaboration with employees and a wide range of people from other departments and functional areas within the organization


Shift Requirements:

Monday - Friday 5:00pm - 1:30am (8 Hours)
