Job Summary
Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations while growing into increased responsibility as our business scales. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with hands-on accounting work today and motivated to expand their skills and ownership in a fast-growing environment.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely financial records and offers a clear path toward an Accountant II role as experience and responsibilities grow.
Daily & Operational Accounting
  • Review, validate, and import transactions from our vendor management system into NetSuite
  • Prepare and post routine and recurring journal entries
  • Pull payroll reports and prepare payroll-related journal entries
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and supporting documentation
  • Support bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support vendor-related accounting and accounts payable processes
Month-End & Reporting
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
  • Prepare schedules and reconciliations supporting financial statements
  • Investigate discrepancies and resolve routine accounting issues
  • Support audit requests and documentation preparation
Growth & Development
  • Gradually take ownership of additional accounting processes
  • Partner with senior accounting staff on process improvements
  • Assist with system enhancements and NetSuite optimizations
  • Learn to analyze account activity and explain variances
  • Contribute to documenting and improving accounting workflows
  • Mentor or review work of clerical staff and/or intern


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 0-2 years of accounting or relevant internship experience
  • Basic understanding of GAAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
