AI Engineer (Founding Team) – AI / Enterprise Platform

New York or Miami (Hybrid)

$180,000 – $240,000 + Equity

Backed by seed funding and already working with major enterprise design partners, this business is building an intelligent system that moves beyond reactive workflows into proactive, AI-driven problem solving.

This is a founding-level opportunity, joining at an early stage with real product validation and a clear path to scale.

What You’ll Do

▪ Build and own core AI agents responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex system issues
▪ Develop LLM-powered systems including query agents, reasoning pipelines, and retrieval frameworks
▪ Design and implement evaluation frameworks to continuously improve AI performance
▪ Work across multi-source enterprise data (MDMs, ticketing systems, vulnerability tools, etc.)
▪ Collaborate directly with enterprise customers to understand problems and ship solutions quickly
▪ Take full ownership of features from concept through to production

What You’ll Have

▪ Experience building and shipping AI agents in production environments
▪ Strong Python and hands-on experience working with LLMs
▪ Deep understanding of AI evaluation, metrics, and real-world performance challenges
▪ Experience using AI-native coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, v0)
▪ Background in high-growth startups or enterprise AI teams
▪ Strong ownership mindset, proactive, opinionated, and product-focused
