The Clark County Department of Aviation is seeking accomplished and highly motivated candidates to apply for the Airport Senior Program Administrator - Senior Construction Project Manager position in our Construction and Design division. This role serves as the lead for assigned projects during the construction phase and is ultimately responsible for the performance of the entire project team and the overall success or shortcomings of the projects. This position provides project oversight, technical assistance, review, and evaluation of construction schedules and cost estimates, administers agreements for construction and professional services in support of assigned projects, and directs the work of relevant vendors. The successful candidate will administer all aspects of assigned construction projects, ensuring compliance with contract documents, applicable federal, state, and local requirements, departmental objectives and mission, funding source regulations, and other relevant requirements and guidelines. This position is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within the approved scope of work. Additionally, this role plans, directs, supervises, reviews, and evaluates the work of staff providing support to airport programs and projects, as well as provides program planning, oversight, technical assistance, review, and evaluation, while serving as the departmental representative and liaison with other Department of Aviation divisions, County departments, service providers, and funding sources for assigned programs or projects. During the design phase of projects, this position will assist in constructability review, phasing, and work sequencing. This position will also be instrumental in assisting the Airport Senior Manager - Construction Design with process improvement and standardization methods within the Construction and Design division.
Note: This position is confidential and excluded from membership in the union. Also, this classification is designated exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and is therefore, not eligible for overtime.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Administration, Finance or a field related to the programmatic area to which assigned and four (4) years of full-time related professional level experience, two (2) years of which were in a lead or supervisory capacity, preferably in a public office setting. An advanced degree in appropriate field preferred. Professional level experience and/or education that has provided the skills and knowledge necessary to perform all job functions at this level may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

License and Certifications: Specified positions may require possession of a valid Nevada Class C driver's license at time of hire.
