Assembler

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Furniture Builder to support our trades team by constructing, assembling, and installing custom furniture and fixtures. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with tools, reading basic plans, and working alongside other trades on active job sites. Responsibilities: Build, assemble, and install furniture and custom fixtures per specifications Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently Read and follow drawings, sketches, or instructions from supervisors or tradespeople Work closely with carpenters, electricians, and other trades as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Ensure quality craftsmanship and attention to detail Follow all safety guidelines and job site rules Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture building, carpentry, or related trade work Strong knowledge of hand and power tools Ability to read measurements and basic plans Physically able to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Must have reliable transportation to job sites Preferred Skills (a plus): Experience with custom or commercial furniture Finish carpentry experience Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Work Environment: Job sites may include commercial and residential projects Indoor and occasional outdoor work
