About this role
PlanetBids is looking for a talented and motivated Associate UX Product Designer to join our dynamic Product Design team. This role is ideal for someone eager to apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to our design system, and grow your skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Role Responsibilities
- Work alongside product managers and engineers, gather and evaluate user requirements
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to illustrate design concepts and workflows
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews to contribute creative ideas and feedback
- Assist in conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights into user behavior and needs
- Analyze research findings to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
- Make data-driven design decisions, using analytics and user feedback to refine and iteratively improve designs
- Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the company’s design system, leveraging reusable design components and ensuring consistency across the product
- Maintain design documentation to track changes and decisions throughout the product lifecycle
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, ADA) and provide inclusive experiences for all users
- Use data, user feedback, and market research to solve complex UX problems creatively and effectively
- Stay updated on UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team
- Support senior designers and team members in larger projects while gradually taking ownership of smaller tasks and initiatives
