Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in and around Atlanta, GA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $30/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:
- Construct, erect, install, & repair structures & fixtures of wood, plywood, metal studs, & drywall
- Install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, & roofs using materials such as wood, steel, meal, concrete, plastics, etc.
- Fit & install window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior & exterior trim, etc.
- Study specification in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout & determine dimensions & materials required
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws
- Follow established safety rules & regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Build or repair cabinets, doors framework,s, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in building
- Use woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools
- Assemble & fasten materials to make frameworks or props
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- 4+Years of Experience in Commercial Carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety
- Must pass a Drug Screen
