What Can You Expect
- Common knowledge of Reeves Young safety policy and OHSA standards with regards to Fall protection, Ladders, Openings and Holes, Slips trips & Falls etc. Demonstrate commitment to an injury free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.
- Lead/Participate in all safety activities such as toolbox talks, pretask plan, job hazard analysis. Superintendent must be involved, discuss as needed.
- Maintain daily progress reports including pictures of work progress, time reporting, location, schedule updates and email correspondence to keep the various people involved with the project informed of important issues.
- Promote Reeves Young's culture, assist with training our laborers to carpenters
What You Bring to the Table
- Understands means and methods of construction associated with Rough carpentry, Restroom accessories-installation. General labor.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Understands how to effectively self-perform work activities to achieve levels of productivity that meet or exceed industry standards.
- Requires performing general physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.
