Hass Co, LLC is seeking a skilled and safety-focused CDL Driver to join our Houston operations. This position plays a vital role in our construction logistics, ensuring the timely and secure transport of materials and equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure truck safety and readiness.
- Operate vehicles in accordance with state/local driving regulations and company policies.
- Maintain all necessary vehicle documentation, inspections, and registrations.
- Secure loads properly and ensure all debris is cleared before transporting materials.
- Accurately complete DOT-required paperwork and daily logs.
- Assist with resolving customer concerns or relaying them to appropriate personnel.
- Represent the company professionally while transporting equipment and materials to and from job sites.
- Follow safety protocols and report hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical or vocational training in vehicle operation preferred.
- Licensing
- Must possess a valid Texas Class A or B CDL license.
- Must maintain a clean driving record.
- Skills & Abilities
- Dependable, team-oriented individual with a positive attitude.
- Strong verbal communication and documentation skills.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Frequent use of hands for machine operation and paperwork.
- Physical effort required; must handle objects over 20 lbs regularly.
- Exposure to occupational risks such as minor cuts, burns, or similar hazards.
- Work in environments with dirt, noise, odors, and weather extremes.
