CDL Truck Driver - Heavy Haul - Fort Pierce, FL


The primary responsibilities of this position are to safely and securely load, haul, and unload heavy construction equipment to and from specified destinations. Must have experience pulling a lowboy and oversized equipment. We haul multiple excavators, dozers, loaders, and many other types of construction equipment.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Class A CDL
  • Ability to operate both Automatic and Manual transmission trucks
  • Must have 2 years of verifiable Tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to meet all DOT requirements
  • Ensure safety and compliance of load
  • Maintain DOT driver log (ELD) and other required transport documentation
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
  • Pre/Post Inspections
  • Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test


Preferred Experience:  

  • Operating trucks requiring a CDL Class A license (e.g., driving forwards, driving backwards, maneuvering in tight spaces, dropping and hooking, operating landing gear and/or air bags, or backing confined spaces, etc.)
  • Hauling construction materials and/or equipment (e.g., transporting unstable loads or hauling different weights on different trip segments, etc.)
  • Operating a tractor-trailer in different conditions (e.g., highway driving, side/local roads, city/country, maneuvering in tight spaces, etc.)
