General Purpose of the Position:

The Change Order Specialist of Connectivity will provide support to the Connectivity Sales and Leadership Team to optimize sales results by taking on key administrative tasks. This position will play a key role in ensuring the highest level of support is provided to both internal and external customers. This role is responsible for enabling sales representatives to optimize every buyer interaction, which will enable continuous business relationships and pipeline expansion, enhance opportunities, and close deals.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct sales support by utilizing a variety of organizational and project management skills 
  • Will speak clearly and concisely directly to customers via video conference, telephone and email
  • Assist sales team with adds, moves, disconnects and changes of contracted services
  • Work directly with vendors and partners on pricing/quoting
  • Expedite sales process by facilitating requests with appropriate internal groups, coordinating completion, and ensuring timely responses
  • Follows standardized procedures to ensure the legal approvals process is followed for the management of all sales orders
  • Provides continuous process improvement suggestions
  • Maintains expertise on Switch products and services
  • Provide support to sales staff as needed
  • Will provide direct sales support by utilizing a variety of organizational and project management skills
  • Perform administrative changes to internal quoting system including workbook order entry
  • Develop effective working relationships with peers, sales team and across organizational lines

  • Experience with Salesforce and Excel applications

  • Required to intermittently work weekends and/or off-hours to support business needs

 

Computer Equipment and Software:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office software suite abilities
  • Salesforce / or relevant CRM experience a plus

 

Education and Experience:

Education:                   

  • Bachelor�s degree preferred, but not required

Experience:                 

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience with telecommunications sector preferred
  • Understanding of telecommunications industry products and network elements
