Performs professional civil engineering work to design public improvement projects, review new commercial and residential development project administers construction as project engineer, and acts as overall coordinator between City engineering staff and all other departments, as well as including but not limited to Building Development Services and the One Stop Shop, other agencies, utility companies and contractors.

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited* college or university in Civil Engineering or related field
At least one (1) year of experience in the practice of civil, mechanical, chemical engineering, or related engineering field.
*Council of Higher Education Accreditation (C.H.E.A.)
Required Licenses or Certifications
Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) License is required. (Copy of P.E. License must be attached to the application)
Valid Texas Driver License. If applicant holds an out-of-state license, a State of Texas Driver License must be obtained within 6 months of employment
