Job overview

We're seeking an experienced Commercial Building Estimator to join our Southern Utah Division. As an Estimator, you'll create accurate cost estimates, manage project budgets, and communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed construction budgets and quantity takeoffs
  • Analyze unit costs, labor, and materials
  • Interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
  • Prepare job budgets, project bid reviews, and buyouts
  • Review cost vs. budget, construction productivity, and VE process
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, field contacts, and subcontractor networks
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and owners

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree or technical school (preferred)
  • Min. 5 years of commercial construction experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with CMGC delivery, conceptual estimating, and design-build
  • Familiarity with Smart Bid, Plan Swift, On-Screen Takeoff Software, and Oasis (preferred)
