At Fiorilli Construction, we're seeking a hands-on, quality-driven Shop & QC Foreman who can move seamlessly between the shop, field, and project leadership. This role is ideal for a strong trade professional who takes ownership of quality, can lead crews in the field, and ensures that materials, tools, and execution are always aligned with project goals.

You'll be part of a high-performance construction team that rewards results through a competitive compensation package and a quarterly incentive pay plan tied to both company and individual success.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Base compensation based on experience
  • Quarterly Incentive Pay / Gain Share Bonus Plan
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • HSA with company match
  • 401(k) with profit sharing
  • Paid Vacation, Sick Time (with rollover), and Holiday Pay
  • Concentrated Time Off (CTO / 8.5-80 schedule)
  • Short-Term Disability (optional)
  • Travel Reimbursement

SCHEDULE

  • Monday-Thursday (8.5-hour days)
  • Half-day every other Friday
  • Occasional nights, travel, and weekend support based on project needs

YOUR DAY

As a Shop & QC Foreman, your day starts with reviewing schedules, coordinating with superintendents, and making sure the shop, tools, and teams are ready for execution. You shift quickly between planning and hands-on leadership-reading drawings, confirming material needs, and helping estimate and control costs to keep projects on track.

Throughout the day, you may be in the shop organizing inventory and maintaining equipment, or in the field backing up superintendents by overseeing quality and safety compliance. You ensure OSHA standards and company expectations are consistently met while stepping in to correct issues before they impact schedule or budget.

A large part of your role is leading execution-directing carpenters and trade crews through punch list work, ensuring production stays efficient and high-quality, and removing bottlenecks that slow progress. You also play a key role in warranty work, quickly diagnosing issues, developing clear corrective action plans, and supervising repairs that meet client expectations.

In parallel, you manage the backbone of operations: warehouse organization, tool and material control, vehicle readiness, and shop upkeep. You track inventory, ensure accountability of company assets, and keep everything operating clean, safe, and efficient.

By the end of the day, you've communicated updates, documented progress, aligned with leadership, and ensured the shop, field support systems, and teams are prepared for the next day's success.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2-3+ years in commercial construction (preferred)
  • Strong hands-on carpentry and general trades background
  • Ability to read plans, understand scope, and support estimating
  • Proven leadership in field, shop, or trade environments
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety standards
  • Experience supporting multiple projects or crews
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel as needed
