Compensation:<\/b> $60,000–$80,000 Base + Performance Incentives

About the Role<\/span><\/span><\/b>

Symbiotic Services is recruiting for a growing commercial mechanical contractor<\/b> in the Dallas market. We are seeking a Commercial Mechanical Sales Manager<\/b> with real\-world experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, and commercial building services.<\/span>
<\/p>

This is a field\-driven sales role<\/b>, not an IT or software position. The ideal candidate understands commercial HVAC systems, repairs, retrofits, tenant buildouts, and capital improvement projects — and can confidently sell those services to property managers, building owners, and facility teams.<\/span>
<\/p>

You will identify mechanical needs, develop scopes of work, estimate projects, and close profitable service and project agreements.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

Mechanical Sales & Client Development<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

  • Meet with property managers, building owners, and facility leaders<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Perform site walks to assess HVAC and mechanical systems<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Identify repair, replacement, and upgrade opportunities<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Develop scopes of work for service and capital projects<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Present and sell mechanical solutions in person<\/span>
    <\/li> <\/ul>

    Estimating & Proposal Preparation<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Build job estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Prepare professional proposals and pricing breakdowns<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ensure projects meet margin and profitability targets<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Address pricing questions and communicate value clearly<\/span>
      <\/li> <\/ul>

      Contract Execution & Project Transition<\/span><\/span><\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Secure signed agreements and service contracts<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Coordinate handoff to operations and field teams<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Maintain client communication through project startup<\/span>
        <\/li> <\/ul>

        Revenue Growth<\/span><\/span><\/b>
        <\/p>

        • Prospect new commercial accounts<\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Expand services within existing client portfolios<\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Meet or exceed sales and gross margin goals<\/span>
          <\/li> <\/ul>

          Required Experience<\/span><\/span><\/b>
          <\/p>

          • 5+ years in commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, facilities services, or construction sales<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Experience selling mechanical repairs, service agreements, retrofits, or capital projects<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Ability to build estimates and review drawings\/plans<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Comfortable working in the field and conducting job walks<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • Proven track record of closing commercial service or project work<\/span>
            <\/li> <\/ul>

            Strongly Preferred Background<\/span><\/span><\/b>

            • HVAC service manager or project manager transitioning into sales<\/span>

            • Mechanical estimator<\/span>
              <\/li>
            • Facilities or chief engineer experience<\/span>
