Randall Mechanical <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>is currently seeking qualified Commercial Sheetmetal Mechanics <\/b>to work on a large project in Palm Bay, Florida.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Position Summary<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

Randall’s <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Sheet Metal Mechanic<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>s are<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> responsib<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>le for<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> the fabrication and installation of HVAC ductwork<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> in very large projects in commercial or industrial buildings.<\/span><\/span>

Experience Required<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

• Three \- five years of experience in commercial sheetmetal duct installation work<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• GED or equivalent diploma<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Must be familiar with proper use of PPE and OSHA rules applicable to construction sites<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li> <\/ul>

   <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>

  Essential Functions \/ Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/b>
  <\/p>

  • Possess all necessary tools of the trade.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Must be able to work well with others.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Must have effective communication skills.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Must be familiar with materials, equipment and devices commonly used in commercial sheetmetal ductwork installations.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Capable of operating scissor lifts.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Bilingual English\/Spanish is a plus.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li> <\/ul>

    Physical Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job.  <\/span>You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. <\/span><\/span><\/span>You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
