Compressor Service Manager

The Compressor Service Manager will oversee the rebuild and repair of industrial compressors, managing a team of technicians to ensure optimal performance and reliability of all equipment. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee the rebuild and repair of industrial compressors.
• Manage a team of technicians to ensure optimal performance and reliability of all equipment.
• Develop and implement rebuild schedules and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and order parts and supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide training and support to technicians on best practices and technical skills.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in compressor service management or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of compressor systems and maintenance practices
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Travel Requirements:

• Ability to travel occasionally to attend meetings, trainings, and events.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to use a computer, phone, printer, scanner, and other office equipment.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds of files, documents, and materials.
