Key Duties:
Tracks construction purchasing and contracting, maintaining an ongoing record of expenditures
Maintain files on service/maintenance contracts and worker compensation verification on all contractors
Work with local vendors to obtain necessary contracts and supporting paperwork for minor repairs and construction.
Must be a p-card holder to make purchases for the construction and maintenance department.Β
Assists in the purchase of construction/exhibit materials and supplies
Pays online invoices and submits other invoices to finance in a timely manner.
Tracks operational statistics for reporting purposes.Β
Preparation of job scopes and obtaining bids on minor construction contracts.
Manage, coordinate, and monitor projects that are designed in-house and outsourced.
Prepare specifications for projects and compute materials and quantities necessary for project completion as well as cost estimates, and coordination of purchasing.
Maintain required records, supervise storage of materials and equipment, and prepare reports as required.
Research new materials and methods for possible application
Compare, review, and approve materials submitted to be used in lieu of specified materials.
Travel to OHS sites across the state may be required at times.
Education and Experience:
A bachelorβs degree
Position requires experience and basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel for tracking and reporting. Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and ToDo is a plus.
