Construction Administrator

WRA Architects is hiring a Construction Administrator (CA) for our Dallas office.

About the role

Construction Administrator will assist with representing WRA on the construction job site and reporting project conditions to the Client and A/E Team. Previous experience in the Construction and/or Construction Administration fields are preferred.

 Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly architectural construction observation for facilities under construction with Construction Administration Manager, Project Principal-In-Charge (PIC) and Project Manager (PM).
• Will include written and verbal communication with client representatives and contractors.
• Must have ability to investigate construction questions by researching construction drawings, specifications, submittals, closeouts, and manufacturer product information.
• Produce and distribute written weekly field reports and submittals for each project.
• Experience processing facility assessments is preferred.

Reports

Construction Administrator will report to Construction Administration Manager and coordinate with Project Manager (PM), Project Coordinator (PC) or Project Principal-In-Charge (PIC).

Continuing Education/ Expertise/ Leadership

Participate in continuing education seminars, conventions & organizations relevant to construction administration.

Stay up to date on the latest best practices and techniques.
