3. Must successfully pass criminal background check, including but not limited to convictions, guilty pleas, or no contest pleas to violent offenses, theft offenses and any offense under A.C.A. §21-15-103.
4. Must comply with FBI Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) requirements within 2 weeks of employment.
5. Effectively communicate with others orally and in writing, at times under complex conditions that require good judgment.
6. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
7. Ability to make clear, effective presentations to top management, the management of outside agencies and City Council.
8. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
9. Ability to lead multiple projects concurrently and effectively manage a team.
10. Must be proficient in the use of a computer and related software programs with proficiency utilizing word processing and spreadsheet applications. Must be able to effectively operate standard office equipment.
11. While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee regularly is required to stand, walk, and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
12. While performing the functions of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and risk of vibration. The employee is occasionally required to traverse uneven terrain such as construction sites.
