Pay: $80,000 – $130,000 per year
Gardner Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Construction Estimator with at least 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating to join our team in Rockwall, TX.
This is a fully in-office position where you will play a critical role in preconstruction, budgeting, and bid strategy. If you are confident in your estimating abilities, proficient in Procore, and ready to contribute to a growing commercial construction company, we want to hear from you.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for commercial construction projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop competitive bids
- Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals
- Develop and manage budgets within Procore
- Identify value engineering opportunities
- Collaborate with project managers and leadership during preconstruction
- Assist with bid reviews, scope clarification, and project handoffs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of construction estimating experience (commercial preferred)
- Proficiency in Procore is required
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience coordinating with subcontractors and vendors
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
