Position Summary
Javelin Energy Partners is an exploration and production company looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Construction/Maint. Foreman to add to our team. Your duties will include project oversight and communication with contractors and engineering staff on new and existing infrastructure. To excel in this position, you must be a proactive problem-solver with good communication. This non-exempt position will report out of our Carrizo, TX field office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and manage construction tasks in accordance with priorities and goals.
- Produce employee and project schedules.
- Manage and monitor members attendance and work.
- Adhere to all safety regulations.
- Manage and guide the use of machinery and equipment.
- Monitor expenditures.
- Manage Spend on all projects.
- Ensure that all projects are staying on or under budget.
- Deep knowledge of the Oilfield industry from New Projects to Operations and Preventive Maintenance.
- Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints.
- Establishing priorities for repairs based on safety concerns, risk of damage, or potential loss of business revenue.
- Communicating with contractors, engineers, and team members about project status or issues that arise during construction projects.
- Setting up schedules for various maintenance activities such as cleaning and repairing of pipelines and equipment
- Maintaining records of all maintenance activities performed by subordinates or contracted outside companies.
- Reviewing service requests from team members to determine what repairs are needed and when jobs should be scheduled.
- Good knowledge around all forms of artificial lift dangers and hazards associated with each in order to mitigate hazards from facility and well head designs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 10+ years' Oil/Gas experience required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as P&ID’s, Blueprints, Schematics and procedure manuals.
- Ability to comprehend instructions accurately.
- Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to accurately record and maintain important information and documentation.
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and criminal history background check.
- Must possess valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Crescent’s insurance guidelines.
- Ability to multi-task
- Need to have a high degree of concentration in a busy area.
- Ability to individually lift: Maximum 50 lbs.

- Exhibit computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with OpenInvoice experience preferred.
- Strong organization and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
- Work well in team environment, take direction and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to use interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service at all levels of the organization.
