DescriptionHill International is seeking a Construction Integration Project Manager in Dallas, Texas
The Lease Construction Integration Project Manager is a Self-starter responsible for managing the procurement, installation and handover of technical hyperscale datacenter infrastructure, ensuring work is complete safely, on time, and within budget. This individual has a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously. They will have experience managing multiple large multi-faceted projects and work independently to manage deadlines and support staff.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an advocate for managing a safe worksite
- Manage deliverables and handoffs with the following Microsoft teams: E2E (End-to-End), Security (DCPS), Data Center Engineering (DCE), Data Center Operations (DC Ops), Site Selection and Acquisition (SSA), Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).
- Manage lease providers, contractors and support-associated teams and partners in the delivery of RNI “Ready for Network Install” and RSI “Ready for Server Install” for each lease site location.
- Effectively manage delivery of technical scope in support of WAN, WLAN and LAN network delivery and supporting systems.
- Deliver scope in compliance with contract terms, design, technical specifications and manufacturer timelines.
- Drive development of solutions and application of lessons learned that can be socialized globally across current and future projects.
- Facilitate decision-making to drive solutions, schedules, and manage change as required
- Apply influence, strategies and negotiation skills to identify options and recommend solutions.
- Coordinate meetings and activities of Lease Providers, contractors and internal MSFT SME.
- Attend scheduled Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC), Integration, Procurement, Safety and other project meetings, and report as necessary.
- Report project progress on scope, schedule, and budget weekly, or as required, provide weekly project status reporting to MSFT standards.
- Effectively track RFIs, constraints and dependencies to closure in support of successful project execution.
- Ensure contractors are working in alignment with safety standards, contractual requirements and embody our culture and values.
Qualifications
- 5+yrs experience in data center or mission critical construction project management with expertise in design and implementation of telecommunications and network systems.
- Must be proficient in analyzing project schedules.
- Must be proficient with O365 or equivalent enterprise software suite.
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES
- RCDD certification
- PMP certification
- LEED certification Degrees and/or professional licenses in Construction Management or Telecom Engineering or similar experience
- Construction Health & Safety Knowledge.
- OSHA 30 or equivalent preferred
- NFPA 70E
- Ability to read and understand commercial lease agreements.
