Construction Laborer

Summary of Essential Functions

• Demonstrates exceptional skills in: construction demolition, verbal instructions, large and small projects, work scheduling.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Excellent work ethics and strong customer service, works well in a team environment, self-motivated and responsible, flexible and adaptive in an environment of change.
• Ability to achieve the highest quality production possible.

Physical Requirements

• Be able to push, pull or lift at least 50 pounds.
• Be able to bend, kneel, stoop or stretch frequently.
• Must be able to work effectively in confined or elevated work spaces.
• Must possess four acute faculties of: seeing, hearing, touching and smelling.

Duties and Responsibilities

• In the absence of the Manager, has the ability and knowledge to make decisions, is productive and sets a good example reflective on the department.
• Maintain a high level of productivity, assists in every aspect of project work.
• Completes assignments as given, follows instruction /directives.
• High quality of work production.
• Assists in regular hospital maintenance/moving tasks as instructed.
• Able to change jobsite/projects as needed to accomplish scheduling.
• Performs all other tasks/responsibilities as necessary.
