Purpose

Support the Company with new location buildout, relocation buildout, rebranding, and location closures

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets. This includes resource allocation and risk management. Understand how to develop detailed project plans, including Gantt charts and critical path methods

Team Management: Lead and coordinate the work of construction workers, subcontractors, and other professionals involved in the project

Liaison Work: Act as the main point of contact between clients, architects, GC, and other stakeholders. Ensure clear communication and address any issues that arise

Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures, ensure the project stays within budget, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. Best practices for managing project budgets, including cost estimation and financial reporting

Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards and adheres to building codes and regulations. Strategize for maintaining high-quality standards throughout the construction process

Safety Compliance: Implement and oversee health and safety protocols on the construction site to ensure the safety of all workers

Progress Monitoring: Regularly review progress and make adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track

Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays that may occur during the construction process

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Strong leadership and communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

In-depth knowledge of the construction process, materials, and legal requirements

Proficiency in project management software

Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Construction Management Engineering, or a related field

5-10 years of experience in the construction industry
