A qualified individual to perform constructability reviews and/or independent cost analysis at various stages of design or construction. They shall review plans and specifications for errors, omissions, and insufficient or ambiguous details. Identify any areas containing significant potential conflicts and/or constructability issues, areas where additional information may be needed and all areas where significant savings could be realized in the cost of construction. The qualified individual may also be requested to validate cost proposals from the contractor. They shall review quantities, time extension requests, proposed additional equipment, personnel resources, materials, and any additional project costs due to additional work identified during the construction phase. Individuals may be interviewed for this Service based on the qualifications needed. May submit multiple staff who meets minimum qualifications to perform all or some of the services required. Individuals will work under the supervision of a Clark County project manager or senior inspector. Firms will be able to substitute personnel after a review of qualifications and experience has been completed and approved by Clark County Public Works.
