Job Description
Responsible for planning, designing, estimating, scheduling, directing, and inspecting intermediate to large-scale renovation and capital construction projects to ensure objectives are met. Assists the Project Manager in determining risks, assists in managing complex stakeholder and subject matter expert groups, and performs program validation. Monitors the construction process and ensures that projects are completed within prescribed timeframes, funding parameters, and according to specifications. Uses technical knowledge to ensure that components, systems, and equipment complement the project.
Preferred Qualifications
Current Sediment & Erosion Control Inspectorβs Certification. Engineering and/or construction management education, training, and experience. Degree in Architecture/Environmental Design, Construction Science, or related field. Experience in working with the Texas Historical Commission. Experience working on historical preservation projects. Construction project coordination experience in Higher Education. Experience in AutoCAD.
