Job Overview The Construction Office Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of construction accounting practices and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers and other team members.

Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Organize and send invoicing, billing statements, and
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Monitor and reconcile bank statements and other financial transactions.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with project managers to track project costs and budgets.
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Assist with tax preparation and filing.
Provide support during financial audits and reviews.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Thorough understanding of business practices.
CPA certification preferred but not required.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction accounting practices and principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
