WHAT WE NEED...
This role will be a hybrid model and is expected to work in our Austin office 3 days per week.
Our Construction Phase Services team at our office in Austin, TX, seeks an experienced Construction Phase Coordinator to join our team. We want someone who has a meticulous eye for small details, knows how to track and organize multiple simultaneous incoming project documents, and finds fulfillment in being the hub for project documentation coordination. We want someone who can attack each new challenge with the knowledge that last week�s answer doesn�t fit this week�s question.

WHAT YOU�LL DO�.
You�ll join the construction phase services department, which focuses on ensuring that the design intent is kept during construction phases. Depending on the day, your responsibilities will include:
� Coordinate project documentation and flow during the construction phase of Multi-Family, High-rise, and other commercial types of construction. Documentation including but not limited to:
o Submittals, RFI�s, Proposal Requests, ASI�s, contracts, and all other pertinent documentation.
o You will act as the gatekeeper for all project documentation.
� Create and issue proposal requests, architectural supplements instructions, change orders, and substantial completion certificates with AIA contract documents.
� Set up the drawing set with documents received from the A/E team.
� Track and follow up on timely responses and coordination with team members and consultants.
� Champion NewForma software to train other staff.
� Maintain updated construction contract documents.
� Represent the firm in a professional manner.
� Support the department with other project-specific tasks as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS�
� 2+ years� experience in a professional architectural, engineering, or construction-related industry required.
� Basic understanding of construction documents and AIA documents.
� Understanding of construction materials, building trades, and products associated with them.
� Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of proprietary construction-related software.
� Detail-oriented and deep understanding of prioritizing and tracking time-sensitive tasks with many moving pieces.
� Ability to communicate effectively across departments, with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS�
� Administration skills and experience.
