Established in 2007, Post Real Estate Group (“PREG”) is a vertically integrated real estate investment firm focused predominantly on the acquisition and ownership of apartment communities throughout the country. Post has acquired in excess of $3.5 Billion of properties encompassing more than 33,000 units across 15 states and over 50 cities.

PREG currently owns an apartment portfolio of approximately 25,000 units across 15 states with a predominant focus spanning California to Texas. Headquartered in Beverly Hills, CA, PREG also maintains operations in Dallas, TX.

Vertical operations include property management, construction services as well as ancillary business services divisions. PREG’s specialty is in the creation and execution of complex affordable housing transactions in partnership with governmental agencies and non-profit organizations.

In addition to multifamily, the company also owns a small portfolio of industrial buildings and mobile home parks.
 
Post Real Estate Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects for multi-family apartment buildings nation-wide. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating all activities related to the successful execution of renovation and repair projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily construction project management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
 
Responsibilities
  • Manage many concurrent projects across the US, covering a range of deferred maintenance, amenity area, and unit renovation scopes.
  • Manage projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, property teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and executed.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and submit orders for materials
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and complete project closeout including financial reconciliation.
  • Ensure that all project documentation such as contracts, change orders, and other agreements are properly executed and maintained.
  • Create schedules and determine sequencing of work, while developing and implementing recovery strategies to maintain project schedules.
  • Evaluate job progress and prepare detailed reports.
  • Participate in all project consultation meetings.
  • Attend and document Owner / Architect / Contractor meetings.
  • Respond to customer, architect, and contractor RFIs.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
 
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Experience in generating RFI/RFQ, project budgeting, construction cost estimates, and financial reconciliation.
  • Proficient with Windows operating systems, Construction management applications, and standard MS Office software (emphasis on excel proficiency).
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects on various sites.
  • Ability to identify problems and resolve issues in a quick and timely manner.
 
Other
This position will report to the VP of Construction Management. The qualified candidate a competitive base pay along with performance bonus and benefits. Position will be located in Dallas, TX.  Project related travel required.
 
Compensation & Benefits 
  • Salary Range: $145,000 - $155,000 target range.
