Construction Quality Control Specialist

We are looking to hire a Quality Control Specialist to join our Quality team. As the Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring top quality in all of our homes.

[This position will be based out of our (Logan, Layton, or Pleasant Grove) office].

Responsibilities

� Perform on-site observation and quality inspection services for field construction activities

� Provide daily reports on issues related to Quality Assurance

� Assist in training project superintendents and trade partners on company quality standards

� Provides leadership for quality assurance and quality control support on assigned project(s) and/or areas to ensure that the project is completed in accordance with company quality standards

� Review project process and evaluate results

� Evaluate Contractor capabilities

� Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

� 5 years of experience

� Bachelor�s degree preferred

� Must have a strong knowledge of Residential Construction and building codes

� Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements of Quality Control Specialist:

� Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of job site in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching

� Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

� Requires travel

� Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers
