Republic Homes is hiring full-time Construction HUD Set Crew Members, including VOG and T&T Trim Out Technicians, to join our growing service and setup team. We're actively hiring in multiple regions and are seeking professionals who are ready to help prepare lots, set homes, and complete essential interior and exterior finish-out work.

Starting pay: $17–$30+ /hour depending on HUD set and trim-out experience.

Responsibilities of a Construction Set Crew Member / VOG & T&T Trim Out Technician

As a member of our Set Crew, you'll be out in the field helping bring homes to life. You'll be hands-on in the setup process-completing everything from block and leveling to roof closures and final interior trim outs.

We're especially looking for individuals with skills in VOG (vinyl over gypsum) paneling and T&T (tape and texture)finish-outs. This role is critical to ensuring a polished, finished interior for our homes, and attention to detail is a must. Ideal candidates will have experience in construction-specifically in the manufactured housing industry-and be committed to delivering a high-quality, move-in-ready home.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set (block and level) HUD-code manufactured homes (single and double-wide)
• Structural fastening and roof closure/shingling
• Perform weather-proofing, siding, skirting, and interior trim-out work
• Specialize in VOG wall paneling installation and T&T finishing
• Maintain tools, materials, and report any issues or needs
• Represent Republic Homes with a positive and professional attitude

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

• Lift and carry at least 40 lbs
• Stand or walk for the majority of the day
• Must have clear vision and hearing
• Willingness to work outdoors in all seasons
• Open to regional travel (occasional overnight stays)

Qualifications

• Experience with manufactured home setup is required
• Must have VOG and T&T trim-out knowledge or willingness to learn
• Solid understanding of tools, construction methods, and materials
• Ability to read instructions, solve problems, and follow procedures
• Must be dependable and able to work Monday through Saturday
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Effective communication skills in English

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant construction or home set experience required
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
