The Outside Sales Executive is the catalyst behind Televon’s success as an organization. As a consultative sales professional, the Outside Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth and bringing in net new business from prospects that they identify and develop.  Sales Executives set appointments with business owners to educate them about Televon’s services and solutions. They do this by prospecting over the phone, face-to-face, through their networks, and building referral partnerships. Outside Sales Executives get compensated with a base salary plus commissions for each new relationship or deal they bring in. The target compensation for this position is +$120,000. 

In order to be successful in this position, and to achieve that target compensation, you will need to be an experienced Outside Sales Representative.  In addition, although Televon is not exclusively focused on the Construction market, nor are you confined to this market, we have found success with construction companies. Having existing relationships and understanding of the Construction players in your area will make your success easier to achieve. 

Requirements

As Televon's Outside Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:
  • Prospecting for sales presentations that are delivered in conjunction with Televon's product leaders
  • Explaining our value proposition to clients via in-person and web-calls
  • Closing sales of our IT administration services
  • Up-selling current clients on our additional products, systems and services
  • Maintaining regular communication with Televon's product leader and inside sales support
In addition to the above job function requirements, you will also need to have the following intangible skills:
  • Persistence, as the sales cycle on Televon's services can be 3 or more months
  • Energetic, since excitement and enthusiasm is contagious
  • Comfortability with IT department and the issues they face each and every day
