Corporate Recruiter/University Relations Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and relationship-driven Corporate Recruiter who can connect with top talent and inspire the next generation of professionals. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce by focusing on full-cycle recruitment efforts and overseeing our university outreach initiatives, including career fairs and internship programs. This position requires a unique blend of recruiting expertise, interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with students and recent graduates. Experience in construction project management or engineering is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to connect with candidates in our industry.  A teamwork approach to recruiting is essential, as this role also acts as an on-site support for our remote recruiter. This is an on-site role in our corporate office in Jacksonville, Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Recruitment:

• Source, screen and interview candidates for office, engineering, and field positions
• Develop and execute creative recruiting strategies to attract top talent
• Leverage professional networks (both in person and via LinkedIn, etc) to promote job opportunities
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and provide regular updates and reports on recruiting efforts and placements

University Relations:

• Act as an ambassador for our company culture and values
• Build and maintain relationships with universities, career services teams, and student organizations
• Plan, organize and represent the company at career fairs, campus events, and information sessions
• Design and manage our internship program, including recruitment and programing activities

Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in university relations, recruitment, human resources or similar role
• Experience in construction management or engineering is a plus
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences, including college students and senior leaders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools, including LinkedIn recruiter
