As a Cost Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in transforming data into insights that keep our utility and renewable energy infrastructure projects on track, on budget, and built for long-term success.

Track, analyze, and control costs for EPC energy and utility infrastructure projects, including transmission, substations, and renewables
Manage budgets, forecasts, EACs, and ETCs across multi-year projects
Monitor cost deviations, trends, and risks, escalating issues proactively
Support change management, including change orders, budget transfers, and cost impacts
Collaborate with Project Managers, Operations, and technical teams to align financials with execution plans
Prepare clear cost reports, dashboards, and forecasts for leadership and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with Project Controls Execution Plans and company standards
Leverage JDE, EcoSys, Procore, Excel, and Power BI for accurate job cost tracking
Act as a trusted cost advisor, driving continuous improvement in project financial performance
2+ years of project cost control, job costing, or project controls experience within EPC, construction, utilities, or energy/infrastructure projects
Hands-on expertise in cost forecasting, budget control, change management, and cost/risk analysis
Experience in project-based environments (not manufacturing or corporate accounting)
Advanced Excel skills; experience with JDE and/or EcoSys, Procore preferred
Ability to translate complex cost data into clear, actionable insights
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience
Willing to travel up to 10% domestically
