The customer outreach specialist will facilitate the acquisition of land and property rights for public and private infrastructure projects, like roads, utilities, and pipelines
Duties/Responsibilities Act as a positive point of contact for customers Assist with researching public records to determine property ownership Research client customer information systems for customer and ownership information Collect and document receipt of executed documents Review project requirements and report deficiencies Adhere to safety standards and procedures (i.e. use of PPE, etc.) Document landowner communications Prepare and review easements Serve as a notary in acknowledgment of legal signatures Communicate effectively to colleagues and customers Meet weekly goals set with Manager Optimize use of time by scheduling appointments when possible, research efficient routes, etc. Minimum Qualifications Frequent local travel The physical ability to walk short distances multiple times a day (i.e. outdoors, from a vehicle to a customer meeting location, sometimes in inclement weather) Excellent customer service skills
Proficient in English is required Bilingual is preferred Ability to engage in small talk and talk with strangers (over the phone and in person) Ability to drive local and long distances on a regular basis Ability to get in and out of the car multiple times a day between customer meetings Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook Basic Process and flowchart skills. Valid Driver License required Physical Qualifications Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at a time Prolonged periods outside conducting field work
Customer Service Experience Required
Pay Rate: up to $24/hr depending on experience and education.
