Description

 

Responsibilities include ensuring that the corporate accounting records are kept in accordance with company policies and procedures, and adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.  Review and process capital invoices.  Prepare assigned journal entries and account reconciliations.  Regularly interacts with all levels of Team Members in operating departments and accounting. Performs responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

 

Description:

 

Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Station Casinos’ “We Win Hearts” Company-wide culture. Review and process capital invoices and construction pay applications. Prepare monthly journal entries as assigned. Prepare account reconciliations for assigned accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Reconcile 3rd party purchasing invoices, bank statements, and reports. Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures, GAAP, and regulatory requirements. Challenge practices and continue to develop new, increasingly efficient processes; continuously develop accounting process improvements. Complete other job-related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

Ability to communicate effectively with Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or related field.  Prefer at least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable and/or construction accounting/controls. Prefer familiarity with project accounting best practices and system/applications. Prefer experience with Oracle and Procore systems. Excellent PC and spreadsheet skills; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat. Strong organizational skills. Good decision-making skills. Detail-oriented, innovative, flexible, and thorough task-oriented.  Can work independently with minimal direction. Must be flexible, able to handle multiple tasks, and establish priorities effectively. Flexible working hours and schedule required.
