Connect and load/unload trucks of empty packages from box trailers
Stage, label and prepare empty containers for packaging
Package final product in totes, drums, pails and other containers as required and take samples for analytical testing.
Deliver samples to the lab and communicate with lab technician regarding results
Perform forklift operations to move and store final product packages
Move trailers using a yard dog and railcars using a rail car mover.
Manage rework containers by identifying and ensuring proper labeling and storage on drum pad and in warehouse, as necessary
Properly maintain and complete the necessary documents related to packaging final products, spotting raw materials for offloads and empty trailers for loading (process orders, unloading/loading packets)
Basic Qualifications & Key Skills
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Ability to read and write in English
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to climb ladders, perform elevated work and lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Effectively communicate with operations, lab technicians and management
Fork truck certification required
Shuttle wagon and yard mule training provided by Shuttle wagon and Yard Mule, respectively, required
