This position involves working as an EIC Engineer in a hybrid setting (3 days in office, 2 remote). Responsibilities include managing technical matters associated with the successful capture, launch, design, field investigation, or start-up of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls projects.
Essential Job Functions:
Assists with EIC project technical responsibility, quality of group deliverables, and overall success of the EIC group.
Development, proposal creation, project capture, accounting setup, and successful launch of EIC projects.
Coordination with process and development teams for implementing standard proposal and project processes.
Client interface, including initial meet-and-greet, onsite meetings, business development, selling of services, and project support.
Developing new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients to continue growing the EIC group.
Maintain positive working relationships with assigned leads, project managers, vendors, contractors, and clients.
Field services, including initial site trips, construction checks, FATs, commissioning, testing, and energization.
Assist with EIC staff resource management, updates of resource management tools, and facilitation of weekly meetings.
Initial design on projects, including first site trips, developing project layout plans, one-line design, network design, power design, utility power coordination, control systems, etc.
Specification of major equipment, development of equipment bid packages, equipment technical and commercial review, equipment bid recommendations, and equipment drawing review.
Assist lead EIC engineer/project manager on selected projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
6+ years' facilities EIC experience desired.
Strongly prefer experience with oil and gas pipeline instrumentation and control, automation, SCADA, RTUs, PLCs, etc.
