Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Environmental Data Manager is responsible for the management of the Taranaki Regional Council’s Environmental Data team, hydrology services and environmental data network, as well as the effective and timely delivery of all associated work programmes to support and inform Council’s science monitoring and reporting programmes.
This role also works closely with the Rivers Team to oversee delivery of emergency management flood warning technical support.
In addition, the position leads and grows a team of 9 direct reports by providing vision and purpose, setting expectations and work programmes that are aligned with the Taranaki Regional Council’s strategic direction.

The starting remuneration range for this role is $141,831 - $166,861 per annum (including KiwiSaver).
