Job Description

SurePods, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a Field Installation Manager to oversee the installation process of prefabricated bathroom pods at construction sites, ensuring seamless integration with the project schedule, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations. This role involves close coordination with general contractors, site teams, and the manufacturing facility to ensure a successful and efficient installation process. The office location can be remote with approximately 75% travel. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following: 

Supervisory Responsibilities 

  • Manage and oversee field crews, subcontractors, and installers.   

  • Provide training and support to ensure adherence to company standards and procedures. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Supervise on-site installation of prefabricated bathroom pods, ensuring proper placement, alignment, and connections.   

  • Coordinate with general contractors and trade partners to align installation activities with the overall construction schedule. 

  • Management and oversight of SurePods trade partners (internal or third-party crews loading, setting and turnover of pods). 

  • Resolve installation issues and provide technical guidance to on-site teams as needed.   

  • Foster a positive, productive work environment and maintain accountability for team performance.   

  • Conduct inspections during and after installation to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.   

  • Address and resolve any defects, damages, or misalignments promptly.   

  • Document and report installation progress, issues, and resolutions.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for field operations related to pod installation.   

  • Liaise between the manufacturing team, project managers, and general contractors to ensure smooth delivery and installation.   

  • Communicate progress, delays, or changes to stakeholders in a timely manner.   

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.   

  • Conduct regular safety checks and address non-compliance issues promptly.   

  • Promote a culture of safety among field teams and subcontractors.   

  • Coordinate delivery schedules to ensure pods arrive on-site in the proper sequence.   

  • Monitor and manage on-site inventory of pods and installation materials.   

  • Assist in developing installation schedules and identifying resource requirements.   

Required Skills and Abilities 

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, prefabrication systems, and installation techniques. 

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. 

  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.   

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Hammertech, ACC (Autodesk). 

Education and Experience 

  • Minimum of 5 years in construction or modular/prefabricated installation management.   

  • Experience managing field crews and subcontractors. 

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).   

  • OSHA 30-Hour and other relevant safety certifications (preferred).   

Physical Requirements 

  • Primarily field-based with regular travel to job sites.   

  • Exposure to outdoor conditions, active construction sites, and moderate physical activity.  

  • May require extended hours to meet project deadlines.
