Job Overview:
Axis Commercial Inc. is actively seeking driven, organized, and experienced Field Superintendent – Aquatic Construction to join our expanding aquatics construction and outdoor living team. In this vital field leadership role, you'll manage day-to-day operations at job sites across Texas, ensuring top-tier project execution, scheduling, client communication, and trade coordination. You'll work closely with project managers and leadership to deliver exceptional outdoor spaces while ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Supervise all on-site construction activities for assigned projects
- Oversee quality control and ensure adherence to company standards
- Manage trades and subcontractors to maintain schedule and budget
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and the home office
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules
- Handle site logistics, inspections, and daily reporting
- Travel and stay near job sites as needed (travel per diem provided)
- Proactively resolve on-site issues and adapt to field conditions
- Ensure safety compliance and maintain clean, organized job sites
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in aquatic construction or similar field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent time management abilities
- Working knowledge of construction scheduling and field coordination
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Willingness to travel frequently within Texas
- Valid driver's license; clean driving record preferred
- Tech-savvy and able to use project management tools (experience with Buildertrend a plus)
- Passion for building, problem-solving, and delivering quality work
