Brookside is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Community Manager to join our team and provide support across our affordable housing communities (tax credit) in Portland, White House, and Fairview, TN. This is a dynamic, floating role that offers the chance to work at three properties within our portfolio.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3yrs of tax credit experience required.
• Familiarity with the THOMAS system.
• High energy with a strong focus on resident service.
• Ability to motivate and train teams on leasing, marketing, and collections.
• A positive attitude and problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create professional notices.
• Experience with Onesite, RealPage and Entrata is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assist in interviewing, screening, and hiring new employees
• Support orientation training and scheduling for office personnel
• Help maintain delinquency and occupancy standards
• Utilize effective marketing methods to achieve leasing goals
• Manage purchase orders and invoices
• Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions
• Apply leasing techniques and sales methods to maximize property rentals
• Ensure prompt and courteous response to resident requests and complaints
