ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee and ensure that all safety rules are being followed at all sites at all times
- Develop work schedules in accordance with the availability of employees, and monitor the personnel
- Report project status to superiors.
- Be the liaison between track laborers and superintendents
- Resolve conflicts or miscommunication that may happen on-site quickly and amicably
- Ability to delegate responsibilities and individual projects to the crew.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for the job sites
- Must have a great attitude and the ability to motivate team members on site
- In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Accountability and integrity are essential as the decisions made in the role affect countless others
- Willing to work in the elements in all weather conditions (extreme hot, cold, rain, snow, sleet, etc.)
- Recognize, avoid, and report potential hazards
- Must pass all required assessments/trainings
- Willing and able to travel to various job sites, including those that require overnight stay and those that require short notice mobilization
- Available to work full-time (40hrs/wk.) subject to overtime, on-call (24/7), alternating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays

- High school diploma or certification in a skilled trade a plus
- Fluent in English; Spanish a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; and talk or hear; climb stairs and/or ladders. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
