What Can You Expect    

  • The Foreman's responsibility is to handle all aspects related to construction personnel an construction equipment management and the decision-making pertaining to production on a daily basis. 
  • Maintain daily progress reporting and paperwork such as daily reports including pictures of work progress, payroll and equipment time reporting for crew, field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence to keep the various people involved with the project informed of important issues.
  • Manage and ensure all equipment is being taken care of, such as greasing and general preventive maintenance. 
  • Instruct the crew regarding activities installing water pipe, sewer/storm pipe, manholes, and grading.
  • Implement incremental project schedules that make sure upcoming events are on track and are being proactively addressed.

What You Bring to the Table   

  • Understands means and methods of construction associated with earthwork, site utility and concrete construction.
  • Must possess extensive knowledge of the trades and the work involved, along with an ability to resolve problems with appropriate and timely decisions.
  • Must possess the ability to understand the function and purpose of the final product and use that knowledge to challenge the appropriateness of the work in progress.
  • Understands how to effectively staff self-performed work activities to achieve levels of productivity that meet or exceed industry norms.
  • Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications:  MS Outlook, Raken and Viewpoint Field Work Center.
