Responsibilities:
Receive and conduct inventory of all Materials entering job site
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or in Laydown areas.
Complete checks and balance of all packing slip, verify the accuracy of information, data has been inventoried, completed and turned into materials clerk prior to COB.
Unpack distributed equipment and materials; store in appropriate location until issued.
Notify appropriate department when ordered equipment and materials has arrived {If required deliver equipment and or Materials to appropriate department}
Maintain inventory control by continuous tracking and conducting a percentage of inventory monthly.
Use identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment to mark all goods.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, enviroTXental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damages to Materials Manager.
Provide assistance and direction to other Toolroom, Warehouse, Materials staff.
Required Qualifications:
Must have 5+ years of experience working in a warehouse.
Must have 2+ years of experience working for an industrial construction project in a warehouse or equivalent material handler position
Position Requirements:
Must have working knowledge of the basic processes and equipment used in new construction
Must be organized
Must have the ability to complete an accurate inventory of items received, issued, and transferred
Must have good communication skills, including the ability to read and write effectively.
Must be familiar with basic computer operations. IE: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Must be able to follow directions.
Must be detailed Orientated
Must be able to train, advise and mentor direct reports
Preferred Qualifications:
Current Zachry, Zachry ROF’ed employee or other Construction Project
Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc. or other Construction Project
Previous experience as a Foreman or above with Zachry Industrial, Inc. or other Construction Project
