Freight Associate

Job summary

This position is responsible for organizing and staging packed orders for shipment and delivery to customers. The successful execution of these tasks will be achieved while upholding a commitment to a safe and respectful work environment. Our ultimate goal is to exceed customer service expectations and deliver exceptional quality. Part time - Mon-Fri 4-8PM

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all packed orders are moved to the correct location based on the mode of transportation and destination.
• Assist the Freight team in ensuring all orders are processed and shipped by the end of the day.
• Identify any non-conforming products and report them to the Supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong attendance record.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions to work safely and efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

• This position regularly requires the ability to stand for the majority of an 8-hour shift.
• Routine bending, crouching, lifting, and carrying products up to 50 lbs are common daily activities.
• The ability to visually identify products by name in English and accurately count quantities using basic math skills.
• Regular use of general warehouse tools and equipment, including ladders, pallet jacks, inventory scanners, tape guns, brooms, and more.
