Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Furnace Operators for projects located in or around Augusta, GA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $28-$32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Operate & oversee the liquid sodium silicate plant
- Start up & shut down plant equipment
- Operate & monitor production
- Monitor material handling system including computer controlled equipment
- Monitor gauges, charts, flow indicators & computers
- Perform quality control test on process samples
- Handle & dispose of hazardous waste safely
- Communicate issues, observations & instructions clearly bother written & verbally
- Operate & oversee the liquid sodium silicate plant
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk & climb for extended period of time
