A Southland Holdings company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Supervisor in Burleson, TX.

Position summary

As the shop manager, maintaining compliancy with all company policies and managing service operations will be part of the day-to-day operations. You are also responsible for employees and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner. A safe work environment is our top priority.

Responsibilities of this Maintenance Supervisor role include, but are not limited to:

• Schedule and assign tasks and providing training to employees
• Looking over daily works of employees
• Maintaining records and files
• Maintenance and repair assistance
• Keeping tidy shop and equipment
• Exercises a safe work environment by following and enforcing company policies and procedures
• Complying with Federal, State, and Local regulations, including DOT and OSHA
• Review timecards
• Hold weekly safety meetings and attend manager meetings
• Gives updates on repairs/parts orders
• Ensures deadlines are met
• Operate shop machinery
• Other tasks as needed
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Strong leadership skills
• Detailed knowledge of the shop industry
• Work well with a team

• Must have familiarity with John Deere, Caterpillar, and Komatsu equipment*
